Principles

We believe food is at the heart of a sustainable and thriving community. Our vision is to grow that community by providing a great range of produce in a vibrant welcoming space. We have regular buskers/entertainers and provide community fundraising opportunities to local groups and charities. We are continually working towards enhancing that space and fostering relationships which can help us grow.

Produce

Thorndon Farmers' Market is committed to selling food with provenance. We aim to provide our customers with the best range of produce available, whether it be locally produced, locally made, organic, gluten free or free range. We use these standards as our guiding principles. Our stallholders know their produce and what goes on behind the scenes.

Much of the produce at Thorndon Farmers' Market comes direct from the grower or Producer. Find out more about our Stallholders.
